Round Orange Turquoise Gemstone Necklace Wire Wrapped in Copper with Matching Earrings

Necklace Description:  This necklace is made with large round orange turquoise gemstone beads and some smaller Turquoise gemstone beads.  I have wire wrapped these gemstones with solid copper wire to form a necklace.  The center of the necklace highlights the large round 18mm in diameter orange turquoise bead as a pendant.  The bead hangs vertically from the center of the necklace with an antiqued copper bead cap on each end.  Under this center turquoise bead I have wire wrapped with the copper wire a loop.  Into this loop I have wire wrapped a 3mm red faceted crystal, a 6mm antiqued copper filigree bead, and then another 3mm red crystal.  These have a dangle look and move when the necklace moves.  The rest of the necklace continues with the copper wire wrapped segments.  There are three different segments of gemstones, beads, and crystals.  They are:  First is a segment that has a red crystal, the antiqued copper filigree bead, and then another of the red crystals.  The second segment is an antiqued carved blue turquoise 10mm gemstone bead.  On each end is an antiqued copper bead cap.  There are 4 of these segments, two on each side of the necklace with a third segment (description below) in between.  The third segment has the large orange turquoise gemstone bead with a larger antiqued copper bead cap on each end, and a red crystal on each side of the bead caps.   There are only two of these beaded segments, one on each side of the orange turquoise pendant portion in the center.  The rest of the necklace, back to the copper toggle is the red crystal and antiqued copper filigree bead segment.  The necklace measures 18 ½ inches long, and the orange turquoise bead pendant portion in the center hangs down an additional 2 inches.

Earring Description:  The earrings are also round orange turquoise gemstone beads, but a bit smaller at 14mm in diameter.  This gemstone has been copper wire wrapped with the antiqued copper bead cap and the red crystals on each side.  Below, into a loop at the end of the orange turquoise and crystals, I have wire wrapped with the copper wire the red crystals hanging on each side of the antiqued copper filigree bead.  The total length of the earrings is 2 3/8 inches long, including the solid copper ear wires.

Dyed Howlite:  The turquoise on this necklace is actually dyed howlite.  Turquoise does not actually come in this vibrant orange color.  When you see a color like this in “turquoise” it is actually dyed magnesite or howlite.  Magnesite and Howlite are also called white turquoise.

Processing Time:  This item is a finished product.  My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.

Packaging:  My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box.  I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships.  It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.
