Purple Green Brown and White Hand Crocheted Fluffy Scarf

Scarf Description:  This scarf is hand crocheted using several different yarns with different textures and different colors. The first look at the scarf you see purples and greens. A closer look you will see some browns, greens, turquoise, and white. The pattern of the scarf goes lengthwise on the scarf, crocheted in rows of different yarns to create the textures and colors.  The term "eyelash" comes from the strings that are throughout the multi colored yarn. These strings make for a very soft and fluffy yarn. This specific yarn is used throughout the scarf, specifically the edges so the part that touches your face will the very soft. Also, based on the side in which this fluffy yarn is crocheted, depends on how much fluff is on that side of the scarf. This actually gives each of the sides of the scarf a bit of a different textural look, similar to the nap on velvet.  I have some pictures where I have the two sides together to compare the colors and the texture.

Yarn:  A fluffy eyelash yarn in the colors of turquoise, brown, green, and purple.  A green yarn.  A purple yarn.  And a green and white yarn.

Measurements:  The hand crocheted scarf measures about 58 inches long and 6 inches wide. The fringe on each end is hand crocheted and hand knotted, and measures about 4 inches. This gives the appearance of another 8 inches to the scarf.

Processing:  This item is a finished product.  My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.

Washing instructions:    Hand wash in cool soapy water.  Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap.  Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside.  Then press out the excess water.  Then lay the scarf flat to dry.  Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.

Environment:  This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home. 

Packaging:  My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope.  If it is one of my larger items I will use a box.  The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet.  Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff.  The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

Color:  Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in electronic devices.
